XPost: rec.music.classical.recordings       From: l.bouvier@cox.net              I have a quantity of classical 78s, mostly operatic, dating from the late       40s and early 50s. I know there's little market for them but I'd like to       place them in the hands of someone who'd be interested rather than throw       them away. There are a couple of interesting items -              the first RCA Victor Red Seal Deluxe recording, album DV 1, Till       Eulenspiege's Merry Pranks,       the Dumbarton Oaks Concerto, Igor Stravinsky conducting on the Keynote       label, album DM 1       an album with one each 10 inch and 12 inch recording,       a set with one side of one record embossed with the RCA logo instead of       being left blank.              They've been pretty well played.              Anybody interested? Any suggestions what to do with them?              Bob              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
