   It will eventually destroy the vinyl.   
      
   Auto windscreen wash is too generic a term.   
   Some washes have chemicals that iwll eventually destroy or damage the vinyl.   
      
   WD-40, likewise will build up a gummy substance in the groove and it may   
   also end up damaging the record.   
      
   Just buy REAL record cleaning fluid and use it!
