   I do a second clean in an alcohol-water mix.  I could not swear that it   
   completely removes the film that is supposed to be left behind, but there is   
   no gunk build up on the stylus.  There are products which are supposed to   
   put a thin layer onto records to lubricate the stylus (which I haven't   
   tried), so I can't see that there is any reason that a thin film in the   
   groove is a bad thing, as long as i
