|    Fleur de Lys - Circles (demo copy)    |

From: @              I recently bought a copy of the Fleur de Lys 7" Circles. Because of the       rarity of the record, the fact that the label says it's a demo copy, and       the low price I payed, I'm assuming that it's a repress or fake. Can       anyone confirm my suspicion?              Anyway, here's the details:              Immediate label. It's white (not sure what colour they used for demo       copies), with a large US style spindle hole (first hint that it's not       genuine) and the words "DEMONSTR...OT FOR SALE". Some of the text is       missing as it would have been where the large spindle hole is. This is       not a UK hole with the centre removed.              The matrix number on the runout is "IMMEDIATE 032 B" handwritten (second       hint) on the A side (third hint), and "IMMIDIATE 032" on the B side. So       as well as the matrix being handwritten, the A matrix is on the B side!              As I said, I bought this very cheaply, and would be happy even if it is       a repress, but obviously would be over the moon if it was genuine.              Anyone shed any light?              --       Andrew @ Rockface       www.rockface-records.co.uk       "Pablo Picasso never got called an asshole"              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
