From: simwah@mindspring.com              I've come across several dozen 10" acetate records that contain many old       radio broadcasts from the mid-late 40's - most are from 1947. Some of       the content includes Jascha Heifetz, Bing Crosby and Al Jolson singing       "Mammy", a 1/6/48 performance of Frank Sinatra, some presidential       speeches, several Joe Louis fights and many others.              Most of the acetates are in very good to pristine condition. Some       appear as though they have never been played after having been recorded.       The rest are in fair to good condition. They were recorded at various       speeds.              I am trying to locate someone to help me assess their value.       --              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
