Actually, I'm not really interested in collecting Canadian stamps at all.
Ok, that's not completely true ... the brunt of my STAMP collection centers
around Scott International Parts 1->16 (up to 1980). And that includes
Canadian stamps, obviously. I'm not interested in collecting modern Candian
   stamps.

What I DO collect is a specialty area of Canadian covers - particularly
military-related postmarks on covers. I have a list of about 20 cancels I
want to try and get from active units.

My quest started simply wanting to buy POSTAGE online. The USPS seems to
make this easy, although admittedly, I've never tried it. I go to my local
post office often enough that buying US stamps in any quantity is easy.
It's too bad I can't get Canadian postage the same way (from my own local
   post office :).

Hence, I'm looking for about 20 89 cent stamps that I can paste to my own
"self addressed" envelopes and mail off to various Canadian post offices,
asking them to cancel and return them to me.
