From: jmcquown@bellsouth.net              Hi, my name is Jill :)              I'm not familiar with stamps nor with stamp collecting. My 82 year old       father has sent me some stamps and he wishes me to inquire whether they       might be worth something. I have no idea how to go about this. A friend       suggested I inquire on a stamp newsgroup so here I am.              My father is a retired Colonel, USMC. He sent me some stamps issued during       the VietNam war so here I am. He also sent me Wright Brothers "airmail" 0.6       cents stamps. Now he tells me he has panes of Edgar A. Poe (Annabel Lea)       stamps, also not cancelled.              I live near Memphis, TN, and have no idea where to have these stamps       appraised. But he thinks they might be worth something. Any suggestions?              Jill              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
