   You could go to your local library and borrow Stanley Gibbons Stamps of the   
   World Catalogues. There are 4 big orange catalogues. This would give you   
   some idea.   
   Another suggestion, again go to your library and ask the librarian if they   
   know of any local philatelic societies in your area.   
   One last suggestion...start collecting yourself!
