First, put a section of a page of       stuck stamps into the 'fridge; leave for, say, one hour. Then put the       section on to a warm surface - the top of a radiator, for instance.       After, say, twenty minutes, try _very_ gently to lift a corner of a       stamp or stamps. If they are still stuck, repeat the method, until       either (a) you get completely fed up, or (b) the stamps slowly come       apart from the paper.              This has worked for me before now with classic stamps that have       adhered to each other or to a page through being in a damp state.       It's unlikely to work if the stamps have been deliberately stuck       down.              Michael Meadowcroft              Michael Meadowcroft       Waterloo Lodge       72 Waterloo Lane       Leeds LS13 2JF       GB       Tel: +44 (0)113 257 6232              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
