   Basically, if you have the time, go to the reference section   
   of your main local library.  They should have a selection of   
   Stamp Catalogues which will give you some rough guide   
   prices that will indicate which (if any) of the stamps are   
   worth more than a few pennies!   
      
   Any attempt to value a large general collection will involve   
   many hours of searching, so be prepared for a long haul!
