From: playin.theponies-no-spam@verizon.net              Thanks everyone for your replies. I plan on selling the stamps, probably at       eBay auction. I have 3 albums. They had been stored away since the early       1960's. I guess the best way to describe them is a mixed lot. Most of the       stamps are from the 1930's, 40's & 50's, but some are from the late 1890's       through 1920's. There are USA and worldwide stamps. Many stamps are       cancelled, many are not. On the catalog pages many have been hinged, some       have fallen out of place. Many others have been tossed loose into their       respective pages. There are a bunch of commemoratives too. Most of the       stamps are in good condition, however the albums themselves are in fair to       poor condition.              I am debating whether I should break up the albums and string the sales of       the stamps along, or sell each album in an individual auction sale, or sell       all 3 albums together in one single auction. There are thousands of stamps       in each album. Researching and inventorying will be quite a large task, and       I am leaning towards breaking the collection up.              Your valuable insights are greatly appreciated.
