   As regards reliability of web hosters - you often get what you pay for! That   
   extra $5 a month that you are trying to avoid may enable the provider to   
   have efficient, regular backups, redundant independent high-speed links to   
   the Internet, on-site technicians to take care of problems, the latest and   
   best software for web and mail servers, new and reliable hardware, etc etc.   
   Also be aware that some "web service providers" do not actually run their   
   servers - rather they buy space from some other ISP and then resell it. This   
   means that when there is a problem and you complain, the people you are   
   talking to - and paying - are not the ones who can fix the problem.
