heheh; my stuff is a little out of control too. I think I'll be
cleaning stuff out this year a bit. I'd recommend making sure you put
them in tissue paper between them etc to keep them from
   dust/yellowing.

Also, I discovered during a trip to my mother's house, when I cleaned
out her apartment and took some photos, how people may forget to go
back and check older items. Years ago, they did not have acid free
and also, some of the family photos as well as the autographs may be
in those sticky photos albums. I had to remove photos and many were
yellowed and had spots on them! So I recommend everyone consider
redoing older albums to the more current ones with the acid free
   backs.

To remove photos that would NOT come off, I took a flat razor blade
tool (it's actually a ceramics tool you can buy in a craft store and
it's shaped like a triangle and thin like a razor blade) and lifts a
corner and then rubbed back and forth really fast with the blade dug
down a bit so the point was almost digging into the page. It was the
only thing that worked! I actually ruined one photo and a few others
had tiny tears or the backs were coming apart a bit with other
methods. Don't try steaming; that curls older photos and polaroids
   will come apart.

Anyway, thought it worth mentioning. But nice site by the way; it's
attractive and easy to read and find things etc
