   Ed, I wonder... if a photo and what quality it is might affect a   
   sharpie?   
      
   I remember printing one off a PC to have Debbie Dunning sign in   
   person. It was hot outside and when she touched the marker to the   
   photo, the ink MELTED!   
      
   I know there are different kinds of paper, ink, processes... it could   
   be a reaction with the pen used if the writing lasts longer or not.  I   
   don't know but it's worth thinking about.
