   The event we just started going to (we heard about it only after the   
   first one and attended Year two and three) is cancelled ... and it   
   seems forever.   
      
   The Virginia Beach Washington Redskins Beach Blitz cancelled by the   
   coach.  He feels it's not worth it to his club.  Gee, one weekend out   
   of the year for the fans isn't worth it?  Every year, the fans got   
   more and more.... the place was jammed last year.   
      
   This is going to be  a sucky year for events; the concerts are sucking   
   and some of them started calling in locals instead of national acts   
   for all the festivals... and they are considering cancelling Bay Days   
   permanantly too.  Last year, Bruce Hornsby was the best they could get   
   and that was cancelled because of storms.   
      
   I guess the biggest thing so far this year has been Phish.  Very   
   disappointed!  At least I have Clapton Tickets in DC... hope that's   
   okay.  Guessing getting an autograph from him is out of the question!
