From: dahoov2@cox.net              Thanks; love that Antiques Roadshow. In case those who don't know,       they do a lottery for tickets on the show. Thousands apply and about       300 people in each of the 8 locations are lucky enough to get tickets.       I think they are almost done (for 2010) so check into it in your area!              Someone kindly emailed me off group yesterday who knows a LOT about       photography and offered some info too!              Questions still remain like how do you tell if it's really an original       verses a clone... I think you need a trained eye for that or really       great provenance, but I think as for collecting goes, it's worth       looking into owning a few originals. However, I was told it's much       like having a Rookie card signed; it ruins the value to real photo       collectors. So something important to think about too.              On Mon, 9 Mar 2009 20:59:51 -0700, comiccon2008@webtv.net (Autograph       Collector) wrote:              >Hey Sue       >       >Just watched a PBS Antiques Roadshow I had taped and a lady had       >autographed photos that the appraiser Kathleen Guzman from Heritage       >Auctions in Dallas pointed out were original MGM studio prints which       >added to their value.
