From: gummby3@consolidated.net              The value was 98% for the book. I still have people giving me updates       of Stan signing TTM. Just send an item and SASE. The problem is that       the buyer, if he ever decides to resell the book, now has a select       audience. I know this from working in a collectibles store. A lot of       collectors consider a comic book or a trading card, that has been       signed, to now be devalued. I'm positive that he could find a buyer       further down the road, especially if, God forbid, something happens to       Stan. I haven't seen an Overstreet Guide for comics in ages, but for       $850.00, the comic must have been in good/fair grade condition. I do       remember that a near mint copy of #1 was valued at over $45,000.00 in       2002/2003.              --                     Mike       Gummby3       -= Star Collector =-       www.star-collector.net       Celebrity addresses the way they should be - free.                     "Sue H" |
