From: dahoov2@cox.net              Not too impressed with this company. I bought a book from them and       they ignored my two questions. First they ignored my email entirely.       After a couple days I emailed again. nothing. After I got the book I       emailed again and told them I was about to leave feedback and they'd       not answered my emails... and they responded but did not answer my       questions. Here were my questions:              1) they claim to be UACC dealers/members but would not answer what       their number was              2) the book I bought was part of a special Easton Press signed edition       series, but the number was missing. Ie ______ of 1500. So I asked       why this happened and was the book a reprint or something else.              I got a response back asking me what a UACC number was and they       ignored my other question entirely.              Then they had a Gerald Ford signed book (actually they had 99 of       them). They offered it as 189.00 buy it now or "Best Offer". I       offered 150 for it. I didn't get a response. Then someone bought one       because their count went down to 98. When that happened, they upped       their price to 389.00. I probably would have bought the book at       189.00 but their lack of emailing concerns me.              anyone have experiences with them? I am not impressed. I was looking       at three other books (all expensive) and so screw them, I will not       bid. I keep getting tempted but I think until they start       communicating, I'll warn people about them.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
