   to trash your system, right ? Disable updates.   
   	Use a firewall like kerio 2.1.5, and something like Xpy to   
   stop unwanted services. Do not allow Internet Explorer to access the   
   internet, and do not install Java. Avoid Flash.   
   	And practice safe hex, you will be fine.
