   How would Adobe know to where to send e-mails about updates?  Go to   
   adobe.com, click on the Flash link (lower right), and go through the   
   download procedure.  Do YOU see them at anytime ask for an e-mail   
   address?  Nope, so how could they send you notices of updates to your   
   e-mail address?
