If you try to remove the individual files you will create a        >        > big problem              I deleted the individual file updater.exe and unleashed the horse causing big       problems with my registry. Basically now all executables open with notepad,       for example clicking on a once-working shortcut on the desktop for iTunes       brings up Notepad with        gobbledygook in it. Same if trying to execute the programs directly. None of       the solutions found on Microsoft forums worked for fixing the registry to       properly associate .exe files. Even System Restore will not run. I have       backed up files, so seems like        only solution is wipe clean and reinstall everything.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
