Spammers spew everywhere, just like they do with e-mail.       Spammers also don't use valid e-mail addresses and they don't bother       reading here any replies to their s[p]ewage.              You must be looking at some old posts. I don't bother looking at posts       over 2 months old. You must also not want to bother to define filters       to remove the noise in Usenet. As I recall (I could be wrong), Gravity       supports regex in filters so you can define filters that target just the       noise with minimal casuality to non-noise posts. Filters [mostly] let       you tailor the view of Usenet that you want but you have to expend the       effort to define the filters to get your view.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
