   Too bad it ain't that simple. Windows does not have lnk files stored   
   in regular directories. They are scattered loosely about on the non   
   used spaces on the drive. They have remained even though the files   
   associated with them have been deleted long ago.   
      
   Yes, I did try a DOS search. Nothing.
