I've been using NoScript to disable Flash on all but a few sites that
I trust, and especially on sites that play videos automatically
   without asking first.

It's only with the current version that I've started seeing the crash
report every time I close it.

When it actually crashes, I (sometimes) see a crash report to send to
Microsoft, to the effect that "plugincontainer.exe has sopped working
and needed to close." Since Microsoft no longer support Windows XP,
there's not much point in sending it.
