   nothing silly about it and the call can be a test call.   
      
   unlocking the phone is normally a drag, so it's the same gesture to   
   answer a call.   
      
   it's not that hard to figure out, certainly not something that would   
   take *two* *weeks*.   
      
   worst case, go to any cellphone store and ask how to use it. they won't   
   laugh at you, at least not until after you leave.
