The very first cell phone I had, a real el cheapo, no camera, caps
only SMS, had a 70-page instruction manual.

The most recent one had a manual that didn't even tell you how to
   answer the phone.

And today another thing came up -- I was asked to leave a voice mail
message, and it said after leaving your message, press the hash key.

But there was no hash key on the screen. Maybe there is a way of
getting to it. But by the time one has found it, it's probably too
   late.
