   I lived without computers for 40 years. I *CAN* live the last part of my   
   life without them.   
      
   Actually I will never have to be without a computer. My XP machine and   
   even my Win98 one, I can do all my photo storage, photo editing, play   
   videos, listen to music and compose typed documents, and more.....   
      
   It's just the internet I wont have, because all the problems with older   
   OSs is with browsers. If I get rid of the internet, I will have to phone   
   or text people instead of email. And I wont have the web, but I barely   
   have that now, cuz most webpages no longer load. As for these   
   newsgroups, they're almost dead now, so I wont miss anything. If I   
   really need to order something from ebay, or look up a manual for   
   something, I can go to the public library. I have never done online bill   
   paying or banking, cuz I dont trust it. So, I really wont miss much.....
