Question About Deleting Google 'Upload'

   I don't use Google except for Google Maps.  I see Google 'upload'   
   links in my registry.  What are the consequences of my deleting   
   these?  I will backup the registry before doing this, but I'm   
   curious what these links are for.   
      
   I'm using Firefox with XP.
