   I'll try to reinstall the drivers of the ethernet card (but iWindows   
   says it's working) and no, it is not disabled. I chose to show an icon   
   when connected and if I plug the cable and right click on the monitors   
   icon it says it's connected (but very few data are transferred).   
   As I worte earlyer I've found a SP3 install file. I'll try to update Xp   
   to SP3.. Let's cross fingers.
