Download the PDF. Brave is included and said to be
the least intrusive. But that's not saying a lot. It still
does a lot of calling home. And Brave has been periodically
switching the business model. Throughout they've been
trying to come up with a system where people will agree to
see ads and they now have their own ad network. So
they're basically taking the view that the Internet is
destined to be a commercial venue and it's their job to
   make that work.

For that reason I haven't and won't use Brave. To me
their approach is a mix of sleaze, idealism, and throwing in
the towel. It's also dubious to have the vehicle become
the service. A browser should be neutral. They're trying to
turn it into a consumer payment system. That's like buying
a car with buttons to order pizza, rent movies, etc. I don't
want my browser acting as an intermediary between myself
and website owners. Eventually they'd end up selling that
data. And I don't want to support a browser that assumes
the Internet is merely a commercial venue that needs ads
   and payments to work.

As for security, I don't know. I haven't seen any claims
that it's safe. It's just Chromium with its own ads and
"micropayment" program. So the security is probably the
   same as for Chrome.
