   In Spain, and probably in the rest of the EU, making the transfer is   
   gratis and safe, if done using the bank web page. If I go to the bank   
   office then there is a fee, but not much.   
      
   I have been paying them for some years now.   
      
   I also have been using Paypal for some years, no issues.
