Newsgroups       don't need checking from time to time as web forums. Putting them in the       subscription list doesn't cost anything.              > I did get a recent spam in here, "Blank ATM cards". Handy now, but I worry       about more sophisticated, pattern-less spam, though it seems not likely       in today's Usenet.              > wrt XP, I had a recent good journey upgrading my T60 from a       > 250GB hdd to a 1TB ssd. I upgraded memory to 4G, 3G for system and the       other 1G that XP cannot use for ramdisk. HDD sata mode is quick enough       for me now, maybe I will consider SSD later. And I use ThrottleStop to       boost CPU sometimes.              --       Regards,       Lu Wei       IM: xmpp:luweitest@riotcat.org       PGP: 0xA12FEF7592CCE1EA              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
