   Yeah, I don't know why people want to play games. Writing them is a   
   blast though and very challenging. Databases however are not my thing,   
   but each to their own. I wouldn't call them silly mind, the only way I   
   can describe my feelings about them is akin to how I imagine it feels to   
   have an alien sucking your life force out of you.   
      
   I am still struggling with this 8 bit thing though. The applications you   
   mention seem to run on DOS. Wasn't that 16 bit. I didn't really play   
   with PCs back then much. I mean 8 bit processors only directly address   
   64k although you can page in blocks of memory but even so the amount of   
   data you seem to suggest you have collected would indicate a bit of a   
   struggle going on so how does that all work.
