   Guess again.   Arlen uses it to store the path to batch files.  I've also   
   had it, as a test, point to a textfile.  It also worked.

   (bolding mine).   As mentioned above, it seems to accept anything.  It looks   
   like it just shoves it to the shell and make it its problem.

   Its usefull for programs which have a lot of "rubbish" stored alongside.   
   You don't want to have those in the searchpath.

   Thats good for the 'puter you're on.  For all others, just place those DLLs   
   next to the executable.

   Wrong focus.   Although its likely my desired relative shortcut will point   
   to an executable or two, it would also be used to point to folders,   
   textfiles and other.   Just like the current shortcut can do.
