   Thats part of it.  The other one is the IDList.  I'm not at all sure what   
   will happen when they mismatch.

   ... And hope that, when I put a relative path to the target in there, its   
   resolved correctly.  Mind you, there is no need for a shortcut to do such a   
   resolving, as it's supposed to have full paths.   
      
   Yes, I've been thinking about generating the shortcut datafile myself too.

   I've already sought for and found some file-format descriptions.  No   
   indication which version of Windows they are valid for though. :-(
