XPost: alt.comp.os.windows-11, alt.comp.microsoft.windows       From: address@is.invalid              Arlen,              > I've taken ALL your suggestions to heart, as you must know by now.       > But I don't see anywhere I suggested using Notepad++ as an EDITOR.              Your point ?              > So what I do not agree with is your characterizing of Notepad++ as an       > editor.              I invite you to quote where I did that.              But what would be the problem if I did ? npp *is* an editor.              > It's not being USED as an editor; it's being USED as a conversion       > tool.              And you think I did not notice that ... why exactly ? Why do you think I       said "Others will have theit own *programs/scripts* to do such flattening"       (bolding mine) ?              But now all you need to to is to figure/find out if you can use an npp       commandline argument to start that macro and afterwards automatically close       the the program*. Than you will /really/ have your conversion tool. :-)              * Some googeling about what other macro actions there are would be in order.       Perhaps there is an action that will auto-start a macro, and another which       will close npp. And if npp does not auto-save the document you'll need one       for that too.              Regards,       Rudy Wieser              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
