   In Thunderbird this didn't arrive as valid uTF-8 code.   
      
   "dash � right" in hex:   
      
   64 61 73 68 │ 20 FB 20 72 │ 69 67 68 74   
      
   FB is the starting byte of a 4 byte utf-8 code, but the   
   3 remaining bytes are missing.

   Wouldn't it be simpler to open the file in Notepad and save it with   
   ANSI encoding instead of UTF-8?
