     I couldn't be bothered to check the 'List of Big Eight Newsgroups' (see   
   newsgroups news.announce.newgroups,news.groups), so I asked Google   
   "Which active Usenet newsgroup for discussing AI?". Its 'AI Overview'   
   came up with comp.ai (Who would have thought of *that*!?  :-)) and other   
   comp.ai.* groups.
