Should I turn off the W10 upgrades I jumped through hoops to       > enroll for?       >              This is exactly the kind of thing that M$ did with my beloved Canon       flatbed scanner.              They've moved from making computers obsolete to now making peripherals       nonfunctional even though they previously worked just fine with W10 and 11.              Luckily, I was able to find a kludge to make my scanner work again.              They also made it so that my Logitech 5.1 speaker system would only work       in 2.1. I found a way to kind of fix that, but it's not totally effective.              I've used Linux with these peripherals before and there were no such       problems.              --       John C.
