   All the updates seem to be incremental leading to the minor point   
   updates. 3.x would imply a major update to the core, which with the   
   developers being limited may well never happen.   
   I like that SM is fairly stable in features and looks. I recently ran   
   SeaMonkey 1.x (forget the version, it was the last 1.x) and wow, was it   
   a different experience.
