   WOW!!! Having read your reply, FRG, I pressed 'F10' and the Bar   
   reappeared. YEAH!!   
      
   Then, to reply to you, I clicked the "Reply" button .... and the Bar   
   disappeared!! AH!! NO!! ..... Ah! Is this why FRG then mentioned about   
   going to "check menu bar under View->Show/Hide to make it permanent."

   HMM!! Just for completeness, I then posted Barryedwin's   
   "browser.toolbars.grippyhidden " into the about:config Search screen   
   .... and failed miserably .... note the ' ' (blank space) at the end of   
   '...grippyhidden '!!
