   A profile consists of a folder containing many files and subfolders with
   files. To locate the primary folder of any profile, you should set
   SeaMonkey to be in that profile. Then, on the menu bar, select [Help >
   Troubleshooting Information]. Under Application Basics (topmost portion
   of the resulting page), you will see Profile Folder with the path to the
   profile and a button to open it (if SeaMonkey in Linux works anything
   like it does in Windows).

   Is there a way in Linux to globally mark the entire contents of a folder
   read-only.

   > 2. Is there a way to duplicate the currently active profile?

   Merely copy the primary folder of the profile, giving the copy a new
   name. Find a file named profiles.ini (not in the profile itself). Edit
   profile.ini. It should already contain something like:

   	[General]
   	StartWithLastProfile=n

   	[Profile0]
   	Name=abc
   	IsRelative=0
   	Path=xyz
   	Default=1

   Where "n" is either 0 or 1, "abc" is the name of the primary profile,
   and "xyz" is the COMPLETE path to the folder of your primary profile.
   Insert a block similar to the {Profile0] but with a 1 instead of a 0,
   omitting the "Default=1". That new block needs the path to the copy of
   the profile.

   I am not sure, but I believe the name has to be a single character
   string with no blanks and is limited in size not to exceed the allowed
   size of a folder.

   > What documentation should I be reading?

   I learned this so long ago, I do not remember how I learned it.
