   Does not SM have some debug logging function so that I can start SM in debug   
   mode and see where the issues lies?   
      
   By the way, I picked two email accounts at random and manually compacted them   
   to see if e.g. INBOX-17 and INBOX-17.msf would be renamed INBOX and INBOX.msf   
   after compacting. They were not.
