   YES! I keep it's chart of hourly weather forecast open in my current    
   SeaMonkey session. AND I regularly open it in FF for current events    
   information.   
      
   That site usage pattern is one example of what motivated my question of    
   tweaking my preferences "on the fly" without the need to explicitly    
   switch between profiles.
