Thus, if something suddenly stops working and       there isn't anything that you've done on your side, most of the time,       about the only thing to is wait for things to clear. If you were       running Windows, I would suggest a reboot, just to make sure that there       isn't something wedged, but if you're running Linux, that shouldn't be       necessary.              If the problem seems to be at the server, then the only place to ask for       help is the server admin. I know that most Mail Server Providers will       provide a web interface. Although I'm aware of PANIX by reputation, I've       never seen them before. I just checked their web page, and there is a       link there for web access to mail. That wouldn't help if the problem was       with the mail server itself (e.g., something like Sendmail), but it       would get you around a problem that is specific to IMAP connections.              If you couldn't get through adequately (and temporarily) through web       mail, PANIX' home page clearly displays a phone number that you can call       for tech support assistance.              Smith              >       >       >       > On 9/24/25 7:35 AM, Richard Owlett wrote:       >> I attempted to post this earlier but only the Subject: line appeared       >> when I checked for replies.
