I have tried several times to get Yahoo mail working in SeaMonkey mail
without success. I finally decided to try doing so using app passwords
   and got nowhere there either.

At this point I broke down and opened Thunderbird. I was able to
quickly get Yahoo mail set up there. I have disabled Yahoo mail in
   SeaMonkey.

If anyone has Yahoo mail working with IMAP/SMTP in SeaMonkey mail and
can tell me exactly how they got it working I will be happy to try
again, but until that point I am stuck with Thunderbird for it.
