   I use old EarthLink (ELN) with SM. Do you have smtpauth.earthlink.net   
   (port 587; STARTTLS connection security, normal password authentication   
   method, and user e-mail adddress as user name?) in your ELN's SMTP   
   server? I don't use Hotmail in SM so I can't help you on that.
