Hi, after some prove&error tests, I managed to get my Yahoo! mail
account under SM mail v2.53.21 using application passwords generated
with the help o a FF (we all have one for the pages we can't see with
   SM, right?)

My tries to got it work with OAUTH2 didn't work, all I got was the
spinning wheel and finally a timeout.

Here are the steps I've done:

   1. Open you Yahoo! account on a firefox browser and generate a new
Application password for thunderbird IMAP connections.
   2. Open seamonkey mail app and add a new account or edit yours. The
correct server parameters are the following:
   	Server type: IMAP Mail Server
   	-Server Name: imap.mail.yahoo.com
   	-Server Port: 993
   	-Username: your yahoo e-mail
   	Security Setting:
   	-Connection Security: SSL/TLS
   	-Authentication method: Normal Password
   3. Clic on Get Msgs...
-A dialog asking for a password will appear
-Come back to FF and copy the application password you generated
before, and paste it on seamonkey's mail password dialog and don't
forget to check the remember password option, because Yahoo! won't
   reveal the application password again.

If you want to configure the Yahoo! smtp server, you need generate
another application password under FF and paste it on SM whent it asks,
and mark the save password option.
This is my Server configuration for SMTP:
   	-Server Name: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
   	-Port: 465
   	Security Settings
   	-Connection Security: SSL/TLS
   	-Authentication method: Normal Password
   	-User name: your yahoo e-mail

Remember that smtp servers are hold indenpent, so you should choose one
for any imap server that you have configured or the default one would be
   used.

   I hope this helps!
