   Having a 32-bit and a 64-bit version in parallel is really not a good   
   idea, for multiple reasons.  There's also no reason to even try it, the   
   64-bit versions work at least as well as their smaller bretheren (the   
   difference being that one is less liable to run out of memory).   
      
   Multiple reasons?   
   - which version you start is not something you have control over   
   - the 32-bit versions are no longer being maintained   
   - if the versions are incompatible, you are liable to get the wrong   
   version after an install - hello profile corruption!   
      
   I'm sure there are more reasons.
