   A key part here is when it's *not* hotmail/free. I don't like one domain   
   where I have an account being managed/hosted by Microsoft - that really   
   makes the thing more complicated than it has to be - but if I want to   
   use that mailbox, I have to go with that... and I guess some here are in   
   a more complicated situation where it's not just a mailbox, but e.g. the   
   school or work mailbox.   
      
   (One good thing in having such an account is that I can, at least, test   
   OAuth2 and the like in SeaMonkey, and not just with Hotmail.)
